What is SōmaScents
SomaScents is an incense brand inspired by the highland landscapes of Shangri‑La. Derived from the ancient word “Sōma”—a sacred elixir in Sanskrit and Tibetan lore known for granting vitality and spiritual clarity. We draw from the chill of post‑snow air, the shadow of pine forests, the moisture of alpine meadows, mineral‑rich earth, and the slow rise of smoke in elevated spaces—and translate these impressions into everyday rituals for modern living.

Founded in the UK by Ryan Huang, SomaScents is shaped by a cross‑cultural perspective but grounded in clarity rather than mystique. We are interested in expressing stillness, restraint, and attentiveness found across Asian incense traditions in a way that feels contemporary, honest, and livable. To us, incense is not an exotic symbol. It is a daily object for breath, pause, and rhythm.
